VILLAGE AT CENTENNIAL SPRINGS: Coming to life at last
Restaurant among first businesses to open in new complex
Residents near Durango Drive and Farm Road have a little taste of the Village at Centennial Springs, and they want more, according to Lynne Laviolette, co-owner of Joey's Seafood & Grill.
"People who come in are always asking about it. They can't wait to see what else is coming," she said.
Joey's was one of the first businesses to open in the mixed-use project just off U.S. Highway 95.
"Women want places to shop, and guys want places to hang out. There's a park coming, and they're excited about that, too," Laviolette said.
Joey's, which Laviolette and her husband, Gilles, operate, opened in mid-December and currently is the most high-profile business at the Village,, a series of colorful but still under construction buildings that eventually will include more restaurants and stores, office space, the aforementioned park and a quaintly designed collection of around 210 single family homes.
